FRIDAY CRAFT GROUP: Our craft group goes from strength to strength. If you are interested to learn how to knit, crotchet, make cards, cross stitch, embroider, quilting, then this is the group for you. Or if you have a craft that you can teach others, new people are always welcome. You can just sit and chat if you want to. We charge £1. Which includes tea and coffee. Just come along between 10am to 1pm at Polegate Community Centre. TALK: On Tuesday Pevensey Transport Interest Group’s speaker is Ian Gledhill talking on the Brighton Tramway. All meetings held at Westham Village Hall, from 7.30pm. Visitors welcome.

LOCAL HISTORY: Polegate and Willingdon Local History Society meet on Friday April 15, when our speaker is Paul Lendon, On The Buses. Doors open at 6.30pm, meeting starts at 7pm. Visitors welcome.

POLEGATE CAMERA CLUB: Meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Polegate Community Centre from 7.30pm to 10pm. We are a very friendly group of keen amateurs who share our expertise and have fun taking photos. We occasionally have speakers and for our April meeting we have a film of a specific photographer. POLEGATE WI: The WI meet on the second Thursday of the month, where we will be welcoming members and friends and maybe a speaker. For more information contact Avril Parrini. Our meetings are held in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre, from 2.15am.
