GUIDED WALK: On Seaford Head Nature Reserve by Sussex Wildlife Trust Ranger today, Friday, at 10.30am to 12.30pm looking at wildlife and the habitat work the Trust does at the site. COMMUNITY CINEMA: Seaford Community Cinema are showing Brooklyn cert 12A at The Barn Theatre, Saxon Lane tonight, Friday, from 7.30pm. Advance tickets are available from The Tourist Information Centre, Church Street.

LUNCHTIME CONCERT: To be given by Fumi Otsuki (violin) and Petra Hajduchova (piano) at St Leonard’s Church, Church Street tomorrow, Saturday, at 1pm. The concert lasts approximately an hour has free admission with a retiring collection.

SEAFORD TENNIS CLUB: It is the time of year to dust off those rusty rackets and head for the free open day on Sunday. This popular club in Belgrave Road will open its doors from 10am to 4pm to anyone who wants to come and have a go at tennis, whatever standard or age they are. There will be a chance to meet and play with qualified coaches, try a ball machine and see the latest in new racket technology. Bring your children to sample mini tennis for ages 3 to 10 years and when you get tired have a rest with free coffee, tea and cake in the clubhouse. If anyone would like to join the club on the day they will receive 25 percent discount off membership which is work up to £100 for family membership. Come and meet the friendly members and have a great, active and free day out.

SUSSEX DAY CEREMONY: At the Martello Tower at noon on Sunday a short ceremony to celebrate Sussex Day with the Mayor Cllr Lindsay Freeman raising the Sussex Flag and our Town Crier Peter White will cry a Seaford version of the Sussex Day Cry finishing with Sussex by the Sea. Come along and celebrate our day.
