Barcombe

STOOLBALL: We were so lucky with our tournament on July 5. We delayed for an hour to give the ground a chance to dry up after the morning’s rain and had a very successful tournament enjoying a hot and sunny afternoon. 1, Barcombe; 2, Maresfield; 3, Buxted; 4, Four Elms.

We had a comfortable home win against Chiddingly on Tuesday. Barcombe 174 for 7, Angharad Hills 62 no, Chiddingly 86 for 9. Unfortunately Ditchling forfeited our away match with them on Thursday. An early reminder that we are inviting teams to our mixed tournament on August Bank Holiday Monday (August 31). Entry forms at Barcombe Stores and Post Office.
