FILM CLUB: This month’s film is a documentary memoir by Rithy Panh about Cambodia, in which he uses clay figures, archival footage, and his narration to recreate the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge between 1975 and 1979, which he himself experienced. The doors open at 7pm next Friday at the village hall, for coffee and cake with the film starting at 7.30pm. Guests are welcome at £6 per head on the door.
MURDER MYSTERY: Who Killed the Vicar is the production, directed by Sue Ralph, to be put on by The Thespians of Bodle Street at the village hall next Saturday September 26. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. A two course supper will be served between the acts, with a licensed bar. Tickets are £12.50 per head and are available from Bryan (01323 833554), Sue (01323 832542) or Geoff (01323 833343).
