CHRISTMAS ORDERS: Just a reminder that the village shop is still taking orders for Christmas. They have local free range venison, turkeys and geese together with traditional hams on or off the bone and a selection of cheeses. Please call in or phone Liz or Guy on 01825 840321 to place your order.

PRESERVATION SOCIETY: The next event will take place on Sunday December 20 and will be an intriguing street walk of Lewes. They will be meeting at 2pm in the car park (which is free on a Sunday) at the rear of St Anne’s church, opposite the Pelham Arms. For further details please call Chris or Jenny on 0185 872830.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS: The village tree has been selected and will be erected and decorated this weekend. On Thursday at 6pm all parishioners are warmly invited to come and enjoy a glass of spiced wine and mince pies and sing a few well-loved carols outside The Village Shop. Singing will be led by David Burrough and the cast of Ubends’ forthcoming production of Sister Act. Guy and Liz will open the shop so that those last minute Christmas delicacies and gifts may be gleaned from the Christmas cellars. Come along and get the festive season off to a traditional start.

DEFIBRILATION COURSE: Free - an awareness course for Defibrillation and CPR for residents of East Hoathly with Halland will be held on Saturday January 16 from 9.30am to 12.30pm in the Village Hall, East Hoathly. If you would like to attend the above one-off session please contact Ann Newton, preferably by email framfieldeasthoathly@gmail.com to book a place on a first come first serve basis. You will receive a certificate at of the session, with many thanks to Freedom.
