CAFECHURCH: Through the Storm’ is the theme of the next cafechurch today, Friday, at Costa in Heathfield High Street. Do join us from 6.30pm in time to get your coffee (first cup discounted by £1) before we start at 7pm. Whatever your age you are most welcome to join us for informal discussion and a quiz or table top challenge, and to listen to a short talk from an interesting speaker and from someone with a personal story to tell. We hope to see you there. Churches Together in Heathfield and District are sponsoring this event in partnership with Costa. HISTORY SOCIETY: The first meeting of the autumn season will take place on Thursday at 7.30pm in the Ian Price room at the Community Centre when Pam Vieler will talk on Memories After the War. Members please note that this is a change from the original programme. Members, friends and visitors are all welcome.

QUIZ NIGHT: Our Parish Quiz Night will this year take place on Saturday September 19 in Broad Oak Village Hall. If you are able to provide a decent raffle prize for the evening, please let Anthea or Revd David know.

ST RICHARD’S CHURCH: Sunday, 10am Parish Eucharist with activities for children. Tuesday, 2pm St Richard’s Toddler group in the church hall. Wednesday, 10am Holy Communion. Saturday, September 19, 9am Parish Prayers in Church.
