CHURCH SERVICES: Sundays: 8am Holy Communion Hellingly, 10.45am Holy Communion Hellingly. Every Thursday 9.30 am BCP Holy Communion at Hellingly. Music for Minis is on Wednesdays at 2pm in term time for pre-school age children. Food Bank distribution on Thursday, 10.30am to 12.30pm for people to come and exchange their food vouchers for supplies.

CHRISTMAS FAIRS: A date for your diaries. Both Hellingly church and the school have their fairs one after the other and just over the road from each other on Saturday November 28. From 10am to noon in Hellingly village hall you will enjoy the many stalls including bottles, cakes, books, jams and chutneys, bathroom, gifts, tombola, raffle and refreshments. If you have any items to donate for the stalls, please bring them along on the day from 8.30am. This event is followed at 1pm by the PTA Christmas Fair at Hellingly Primary School.

SALVATION ARMY CONCERT: A Salvation Army Concert is going to be held in Hellingly Church on Saturday December 12 starting at 7pm. Tickets are £6 which includes refreshments.

DICKER SUNDAY SERVICES: 9.15am Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Church, Coldharbour Road.

COFFEE MORNINGS: There are weekly coffee mornings with a book exchange at Dicker Hall 10.40am to noon every Thursday. Book Exchange or purchase 20p.

WINTER GARDEN TOUR: A 90 minute tour exploring the seven acres of historic gardens at Michelham Priory, with the head gardener, James Neil. Price includes entrance to the house and grounds, tour and soup and fresh bread roll in the café. Tour starts at 11am. £15 for Non-members. £10 for Sussex Archaeological Society Members and Friends of Michelham Priory. Numbers are limited so please book in advance. PARISH COUNCIL: The Clerk was instructed to write to each of the four parishes that are party to the Unilateral Agreement for the allocation of the £34K from the Community Benefit scheme arising out of the Berwick Solar Farm project. This amounted to £8520.50 per parish.

DICKER CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL: A week of festive fun for Dicker families and friends from Monday to Sunday, December 7 to 13, will include on Monday December 7: Carols, Santa and Mulled Wine and 6pm at Dicker Village Shop with Bedes school; On Tuesday A Christmas Quiz which has yet to be confirmed; Wednesday Children’s Christmas Lantern Making from 3.30pm to 5pm, Holy Trinity Church bring a jam jar, battery operated tea lights 50p; Thursday December 10, Christmas Coffee Morning 10.30am to noon, Dicker Village Hall, all welcome. Events for the Friday December 11 are to be confirmed. Look out for information on posters in the village and Dicker Links. On Saturday December 12 there will be a Children’s Christmas Party from 3.30pm to 5.30pm in Dicker Village Hall. Bring a plate of food to create a buffet.
