1950’s PARTY: The event to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday on June 11 was a great success and attended by around 70 people from Upper Dicker and Arlington. There was delicious food brought by everyone and eaten while Peter Willson on his portable grand piano and Frank Fox-Wilson on the drums got us into the 50’s mood. After a crazy stand up quiz and dancing, masses of candles were blown out on behalf of Her Majesty by one senior and one very junior resident. You will have to wait another 10 years for the next party for the Queen.
