PEACEHAVEN WI: the last meeting of 2015 was a festive occasion and, although early, Christmas spirit abounded with cards and good wishes being exchanged. Outings were discussed and members reminded that a deposit would be required in January for the August visit to Lullingstone Castle. This was followed by a special tea, beautifully set out by Margaret and her team of catering assistants. Peter Willson entertained us, ably accompanied by vocalist Linda, on a grand piano which he had transported, piece by piece into the Anzac Room. The rest of the afternoon was happily spent joining in with well-known carols. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on January 13 and in the meantime wish everyone a great Christmas and Happy New Year. (Joy Allen).
