ITALIAN MARKET: Today, Friday, from 10am to 4pm in Sutton Road opposite Sussex Stationers.

LUNCHTIME CONCERT: At St Leonard’s Church on Saturday from 1pm and lasts approximately one hour. Admission is free with a retiring collection.

OPEN HOUSE: At 16 Hill Rise from 11am to 5pm from tomorrow, Saturday, to Monday. There will works by artists Anthony Morgan-Jones, Maureen Black and illustrator Tom Morgan-Jones. Refreshments available.

DONKEY DERBY: At The Martello Fields on Monday from noon. Lots of fun can be had at this popular event including donkey races with tote, a variety of stalls, fun fair, refreshments and plenty of entertainment.

SEAFORD BONFIRE SOCIETY: The society has their monthly meeting on Thursday from 7.30 pm at The White Lion, Belgrave Road. New members welcomed.

ARTWAVE: Artwave continues pick up a programme from Seaford Tourist Information, 37 Church Street for places to visit during the Bank Holiday Weekend. Lots of local art if it’s paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewellery etc at various locations in Bishopstone, Seaford and surrounding area.

WELL DONE: To the Weight Watchers Group who raised £250 at their meeting last Monday morning during the group session for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (a rare brain disease) and donated items went to The Chestnut Tree Charity Shop. Liz Holland would like to thank their leader Sally Evans, members and friends for their support.
