CHURCH SERVICES: Warbleton Parish Church: 11am Holy Communion and Children’s Sunday Club. St John’s Bodle Street: 9.30am Morning Prayer. St Giles, Dallington: 9.30am Holy Communion. Heathfield Chapel: 11am Morning worship with Paul Daniels, 6.30pm Evening service and communion led by Ken Davies.

CHILDREN’S CLUB: At Warbleton Church and Church Rooms from 10am to noon on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a summer holiday children’s club for pre-school and primary school children. The former must be accompanied by an adult. There will be craft, games, refreshments, singing, and Christian teaching all for the modest sum of £1 per child (£2 for family) per day. COFFEE & CO: I am delighted to report that the special event at Coffee and Company raised about £150 for Demelza Hospice for Children. Rita Atkinson tells me that this has been made up to £250, and a cheque has been sent off. Coffee and Company is open each Thursday at the Osborne House Community Room from 10am to noon.

POPPY APPEAL: If you would like to be involved in the annual Poppy Appeal for The Royal British Legion in Bodle Street or Warbleton and Rushlake Green, please contact Margaret Harding on 01323 833254 or HardingHoleFarm@aol.com. There will be a Poppy Appeal Event at the Bodle Street Village Hall on November 11.
