A CHANCE to walks the Seven Sisters and raise money for Parkinson’s is up for grabs.
The Seven Sisters Challenge is taking place on Sunday 3 July and charity Parkinson’s UK wants more participants.
More than 75 walkers have already signed up for this challenging circular walk from the Seven Sisters Country Park.
Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for children.
All proceeds will help fund Parkinson’s UK’s vital work in the South East.
Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological condition and there is currently no cure.
For some people having the condition can be a frustrating and isolating experience.
The South East region of Parkinson’s UK offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers to make sure that no one has to face it alone.
Regional fundraiser at Parkinson’s UK Alyson Smith said: “I’m really excited about our event. We hope as many people as possible join us for the 8-mile sponsored walk for a day to remember.
“This year we have been given support from Audley Mote House, who will be providing refreshments for the walkers.
“Our work is totally dependent on donations, and it is this kind of generosity that means we can continue our work to find a cure and improve the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson’s.”
