A Wealden wildlife charity has nothing but praise for people who run its charity shops.

The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare in Hadlow Down says the Bell Walk shop in Uckfield has an amazing turnover of clothes. Manager Debbie has a ‘keen eye’ they say, and ensures that there is always something different on the rails.

Or it will also use the services of e-Bay if something is donated that can attract a better price. Volunteers sort, clean and price so nothing stays on the shelves so long.

A quick turnover and variety of bric-a-brac and PAT electrical items are popular at the Terminus Road shop in Eastbourne where manager Lee has created an informative central display which promotes the Rescue Centre.
