CHIEF inspector Dick Coates has invited the Hailsham community to meet with him on Sunday January 29 at Summerheath Hall, Summerheath Road, Hailsham.
The Wealden District Commander said: “I will be there with a few officers from the neighbourhood police team from 3pm onwards.
“I want the people of Hailsham to know that we are hear to listen to their concerns following the recent tragic death of local man, Darren Croxton.
“Darren’s untimely death has been devastating for his family and friends, and affected many others in the wider community.
“My officers and I all care about what happened on Sunday January 22 and we will do all we can as a police force to investigate and bring to justice those responsible.
“Once again, I would like to remind people to please speak to us if they have any information that could help police with their inquiries.”
