A Wealden pet owner is offering a £100 reward to help find her family cat, who she believes has stowed away with visitors to the town.

Kimberley English, from Ridgewood in Uckfield thinks her British Blue cat, Bayley, jumped into the car of a people who viewed her neighbour’s house on Tuesday August 18.

The house on Lewes road, which shares a drive with Kimberley’s home, has been advertised online

Kimberley said, “He is a pedigree and he is so well looked after, no one would think he was a stray. We really want him home.”

Kimberley also asks for people in the local area to check their sheds and garages to see if he has become trapped.

Bayley is microchipped and if found can be taken to a vet and scanned free of charge.

She continued, “I am severely epileptic and Bayley has been with me for seven years.

“In all that time whenever I have a seizure he seems to sense them and alerts my husband or neighbour by meowing and pawing at me.

“He is so well loved and missed I cant tell you how much, I’m frantic with worry.”

If you find Bayley you can call Kimberley on 07815502671.
