A warning has been issued for strong to gale force winds and driving rain across East Sussex at the end of this week.
The yellow warning has been put in place for Thursday and Friday (December 11/12).
The Met Office says a deep area of low pressure is due for those days which may lead to strong to gale force winds, accompanied by heavy rain.
This could lead to some travel disruption and isolated power outages.
During Thursday and Friday there could be 20-30 mm of rain from this system with isolated surface water flooding possible.
There could be gusts of 50-60mph quite widely but as high as 70mph along the south coast.
The wind will turn westerly and gradually decrease during Friday.
