IMPORTANT CHANGES TO Wealden District Council’s Core Strategy Plan – proposals which will determine levels of development in the district – are now on public consultation. The modifications were first published on July 5 and can be seen on the council’s website: www.wealden.gov.uk. They can also be viewed at town and parish council offices in Crowborough, Forest Row, Hailsham, Heathfield, Mayfield, Polegate, Uckfield and Willingdon. Among them is one referring to the seven kilometre development zone around the Ashdown Forest, number WS35, first published in April and sent to all consultees including parish and town councils.
