A Christmas Carol evening will be held in Willingdon on December 12 at the Triangle in Willingdon from 6pm until 8.30pm.

Father Christmas will be able to attend the Christmas Carol Evening organised by Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council – and you can visit him in Willingdon Library where there will be various activities provided.

The Kingfisher Scout Band will also be there on the evening providing entertainment. There will be opportunities to buy goodies from stall holders in Trinity Church Hall, as well as supporting local charities by taking part in tombolas or raffles.

This year, Wealden Brass will be attending, playing Christmas Carols for all to join in and sing along, whilst warming up with mulled wine and mince pies or some wonderful food provided by Brains the Butchers.

This year the council has installed new Christmas lights and new tree lights which will be visible from Eastbourne Road.

The Christmas Carol evening is always very well attended and is considered one of the main highlights of the year.
