A POPULAR GARDEN pot business has been forced to close after it was made homeless.
May Pankhurst, aged 63, ran ‘May’s Terracota Pot Warehouse’ business for 28 years with her 80-year-old husband Ernie. Some six years ago they moved into part of a farm in Wilmington.
But the farmer needs to use the business site for his farming activities and the pot hole business has nowhere else to move. The business site is due to close on Monday, May 30.
May Pankhurst said the farmer was not to blame, it was a business decision. But the couple are now trying to work out their future.
