Woman in hospital following Ringles Cross crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Ringles Cross, near Uckfield, on Thursday July 19.

The collision took place at around 5.55pm between a grey BMW and a red MG travelling north on London Road.

Sussex Police said the collision caused the MG to roll onto its roof.

The driver of the MG, a woman in her 20s from Tunbridge Wells, was taken to hospital suffering from serious, but not life-threatening injures.

She remains in hospital today (Friday). The driver of the BMW was uninjured.

The road was closed until 8.40pm.

Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from any witnesses who are yet to speak to police.
