Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on the A22 at Lower Dicker.

At about 7.18am today (Monday, July 4), officers attended the scene of the collision involving a red Renault Clio and a black Suzuki GSX.

The motorcyclist – a 56-year-old woman from Hailsham – was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious leg injuries.

The road was blocked temporarily while the vehicles were recovered and the scene was made safe. The accident happened on the A22 just west of the Boship Roundabout.

Witnesses are asked to contact collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 188 of 04/07.
