Work begins on Salts play area in Seaford

Work has begun on the construction of a new play area at The Salts Recreation Ground in Seaford.

Seaford Town Council said following the successful completion of the public consultation where winning manufacturer Kompan was chosen, work began this week. The play area site was closed from yesterday (Thursday May 21). It will be closed for the duration of the project, and where required some neighbouring areas may need to be closed temporarily in order to work on certain parts of the project. A spokesman for Seaford Town Council said it would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time. The spokesman said: “Please be patient during this exciting time, while we work to complete the all new play space for the summer. In addition further consultations will soon be taking place in relation to Skate Park and Tennis Courts.”
