Police are looking for a man known to frequent the Shoreham and Worthing areas who is suspected of thefts in Bognor and Seaford.

Glenn Waters, 29, is also wanted over assault allegations, Sussex Police said.

Waters is suspected of committing eight thefts, including shoplifting at chemists in Bognor and Seaford between March and August this year.

According to police he is also sought over his failure to appear at court to answer charges over one other alleged theft, two alleged common assaults, and for allegedly breaching a court order, all between February and April this year.

PC Doug Campbell of the Worthing and Horsham crime and operations team said; “We think Waters is still in the Worthing and Shoreham areas, and anyone who sees him or has any other information is asked to contact us via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call us on 101, quoting serial 502 of 29/10.

“You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
