If you enjoyed the last wrestling event in Peacehaven never fear - because it is set to return next year.
Top grappling star Wolf Alexander is set to top the bill at the next wrestling spectacular which will take place on February 28.
Alexander, who always treats the fans to a powerful rendition of the Polish national anthem before his bouts, is the first big name to be announced for the show at the Meridian Centre.
Known as ‘The Polish Eagle,’ Alexander has emerged as one of the superstar performers in British rings since making his debut for leading UK matchmakers Premier Promotions in 2012.
He went close to defeating former American TNA and Ring of Honour title-holder Doug Williams when they met last year in a PWF international championship.
Alexander has been booked to make his first Peacehaven appearance on a card that will also include women’s wrestling.
Tickets for the show are available from the Information Office at the Meridian Centre, priced at £10 for adults and £9 for concessions.
A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £36. To book tickets call the box office on 01273 585493.
The show is being held to raise funds for the Mayor of Peacehaven’s local project fund.
Live wrestling was first staged at the Meridian Centre last year.
It featured an All American Rumble where the wrestlers can only be eliminated by being thrown out of the ring over the top rope.
The last man standing is the winner.
The event proved so popular it has returned several times.
In October last year the event had to be postponed after a fire broke out at the co-op.
The fire alarms went off half an hour into the performance and the audience and wrestlers had to leave the building.
The postponed show return four months later to the delight of fans.
