WW2 medals stolen in Wealden raid

Medals from the Second World War and a OBE have been stolen in a burglary at Chelwood Gate.

Several items of jewellery were also stolen in the raid on a property in Tanyard Lane between 11am and 5pm on Saturday, November 7.

Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who may have other information, to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1048 of 07/11.

Alternatively, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
