THERE have been a few letters recently concerning the proposed electoral boundary changes. All of them have said Lewes has nothing in common with East Brighton and does not want to be part of it. What about Polegate?
We are only two miles from Hailsham so we should be in Wealden. The only things we have in common with Lewes is the railway line and the poor excuse for a main trunk road called the A27. East Brighton is only a five minute car journey from Lewes. But is 20 minutes from Polegate to Lewes.
