The electricity pylons that cross the downs from Offham towards Brighton, going betweeen the race course and Mount Harry are being replaced. Surely this is an opportunity to replace them with sunken cables so that they no longer create an eyesore. Why does the National Park authority not insist on this? I realise that they are more expensive but they are being replaced anyway and we are only talking about a mile or two.
