Being a performer, I know what nerves feel like but I don’t think anything can prepare someone for a feat such as this one.
As a Vice President of Demelza, I’ve been able to witness the life-changing differences that this inspirational place makes to vulnerable young people and their families every day.
As a result, I have already taken an active role in participating in three events last year alone - singing at Demelza’s Music on The Hill concert, taking part in both the London Marathon and the Demelza Run (there was a lot of running last year) as well as speaking at Demelza’s annual Christmas Carol Concert which I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of.
However, this year I’m encouraging you to try something new. This year’s Demelza 101 challenge is a 10-mile trek to the summit of Ben Nevis and it would be wonderful if you could join Team Demelza.
We are offering 100 trekkers the chance to take part in this exciting new challenge which aims to raise money for charity.
So grab your boots and “make your mind up” because it’s something everybody’s going to talk about.
For more information, go to www.demelza.org.uk or email email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you at the next Demelza 101.
