LETTER: A potential white elephant
I think that the new Premier Inn in Lewes has the potential to be the biggest white elephant ever conceived in the town.
From the outset I asked the planning authority where car parking for the hotel was to be provided. I did not get any reply that made sense and now we know the answer – there isn’t any.
There is, of course, an adjacent car park for shoppers, and a shoppers’ car park it must remain.
