We would like to let your fitness-minded readers know they still have a chance to put their best foot forward for the British Red Cross in April’s Brighton Marathon.
The British Red Cross still has a few guaranteed charity places left for the marathon on Sunday, April 15, and we can now offer people the chance to save one £100 registration fee when they sign up with a friend. The deadline for sign-ups is the end of February.
Coming into its third year, the Brighton Marathon is fast becoming one of the most popular marathons in the UK thanks to its scenic landscape. With 18,000 runners taking to the streets of Brighton, this race is not to be missed! Full support will be given to all participants. Runners will be given a British Red Cross running vest, a fundraising pack full of tips and advice on reaching the sponsorship target, and dedicated one-to-one support from the organisation, including nutritional plans and training advice.
The British Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian movement. People who fundraise for us make an extremely valuable contribution to our work, which includes local community services for people facing crisis in the UK as well as relief work when disaster strikes around the world.
We need to keep fundraising so that we can be there next time things go wrong, and we rely on the help of generous donors and champion fundraisers to continue our work.
Anyone who is interested in running for us in the Brighton Marathon should contact Toya on 020 7877 7951 for an application form.
We look forward to hearing from you!
