Letter: Top selling duo rocked town

Your item ‘ The biggest name to come to town ...’ (February 1) got me thinking.

I had the great pleasure of seeing the world’s biggest record selling duo Hall and Oates at Crawley Leisure Centre.

I believe I’m right in saying that Mr Chuck Berry played Crawley as did Miss Dionne Warwick and they don’t come much bigger than that.

Literally big were Big Country whose tartan guitars I heard at Crawley Leisure Centre.

Jools Holland played a memorable pre-proms concert in Tilgate Park.

Oh and I guess Suede front man Brett Anderson probably went through Three Bridges on the train from Haywards Heath to London town.
