MP Simon Kirby must have a short memory regarding cuts to the East Sussex Fire Service

Have your say

Driving through Telscombe Cliffs this afternoon, I was amazed to see a poster proclaiming Simon Kirby MP’s support for the campaign against £7.1 million cuts to the East Sussex Fire Service.

Clearly, Mr Kirby has a very short memory as he voted in Parliament for the cuts in the grant from Central Government that has precipitated the latest round of heavy cuts to our Fire Service.

Perhaps Mr Kirby will now make amends by publically lobbying the Tory members of the Fire Authority to vote down these cuts, and support the campaign by Labour Parliamentary Candidates to Save Our Fire Service by signing the petition at http://www.saveourfireservice.org.uk/petition?
