A SEARCH was sparked after a child went missing in Hailsham – involving a police helicopter.
A man, wanted for a breach of bail conditions, went missing with the seven-year-old on Wednesday evening, July 28.

Hotel 900 – the Sussex Police helicopter – searched the area around the Cuckoo Trail between Hailsham and Polegate. Fields near the Freedom Leisure Centre were also searched just after midnight.

The child was later found safe and well at an address in Hailsham.

It is thought the incident was related to a domestic issue.
