How Uckfield Grasshoppers Football Club raised cash to make Taylor mobile again

A 24-hour football match raised £7,000 for a former young player.
Taylor Mitchell, 14 used to play for Uckfield Grasshoppers Football Club but now suffers from the rare genetic disorder Neurofibromatosis Type Two (NF2.)

An operation in January this year left him unable to use his legs at all.

Taylor lives with his dad, Ian, stepmum, Carolyn, brothers Spencer and Fraser and step-brothers, Thomas and Robert, in Goldcrest Drive and attends Beacon Community College in Crowborough.
