KEVIN Keehan praised goalscorer Chamal Fenelon and claimed he could be Football League quality if only a manager can "get him right".
He said, "Chamal came in and did well and caused them a problem early on and obviously scored the goal.

So I was quite happy with him but he tired in the end. He gives us something different. Obviously he's big and strong.

He can be frustrati
ng as well. We're trying to get him to have a little bit more vision, just to lay it off and then to get the next one (pass).

"But when I did my homework about him prior to signing him, everyone I spoke to said if you get him right he's a Football League player. But the question is whether you can get him right. We've just got to keep working."

Fenelon said of his goal, "I was quite surprised. I never normally do pretty finishes like that, I usually hit it as hard as I can! I saw Craig (Richards) hit a ball down the side.

I didn't have much time to look up but I saw the keeper coming out and I thought I'd try it anyway. But I didn't actually see it go in because I'd turned 360 degrees and then realised it was in."

"At 2-1 I thought, 'We're going to be 3-2, 4-2 up here', and all of a sudden we're 4-1 down. It's heartbreaking."

He added, "I knew I was playing when I got here at 1.30pm when I was told I was starting. I was excited but nervous as well.

"It was a pleasant surprise but a challenge as well.

"I knew it was going to be 90 minutes and was going to be quite hard work, particularly at this level as well as I've never done it before. I don't think I've played 90 minutes since March. It was quite tiring but it was enjoyable.

"I should have had two really. The other one I should have taken a better touch but that's going to come.

"I got a bit excited but that happens but hopefully it's going to happen that I'll get a lot of opportunities to score this season."
