Seaford Town manager Bob Laundon has refused to get carried away with his side's positive start to the season, which has left them in second place thanks to two comfortable wins following a 1-0 reversal away to Steyning to open the season.
Laundon said he was "very happy with the way things were going", but cautiously added, "We're taking each game as it comes.

"We just try to win each game, taking it one game at a time, then at the end of the season if we've won enough of those games then we go up, which would be great.

"It's a tough division to get out of and every team has a chance in each game.

"Really we're just doing everything we can to play good football."

New signing and former Hailsham player Drew Greennall scored on debut against Sidley, whilst Laundon also has one more player to return in two week's time when the cricket season ends.

Seaford followed their disappointing first game with a 4-1 thumping of Sidley, before seeing off Sidlesham 2-0.

Town host Bexhill United in the league tomorrow before entertaining Shoreham in the Sussex Senior Cup on Tuesday.
