Lewes drew level on points with Grays Athletic in the Blue Square Premier after winning a thriller of a match against Forest Green Rovers this afternoon.
Two oustanding goals from man of the match Joe Keehan and a thumping header from Sam Gargan sent a soaring Rooks 3-0 in at the break at the Dripping Pan.

And the Rooks were looking comfortable early on in the second half - with new loan signing Jack Compton seeing a great chance to make it 4-0 saved by keeper Ryan Robinson - before Rovers pulled on back seconds later on 64 minutes. A Jonathan Smith pull back from the right was fired in from the edge of the box by substitute Conal Black.

Just three minutes later a nervous finale was ensured when Smith volleyed into the bottom corner after Lewes had failed to clear their lines.

But the Rooks held on for the final 23 minutes - and an agonising five minutes of added time to secure a deserved three points.

And with rock bottom Northwich Victoria beating third-bottom Grays, Lewes pulled level with the Essex outfit on 11 points.
