Lewes FC travel to the Kingfield Stadium tomorrow night to take on Woking in a crunch match and NOT at the Dripping Pan as suggested in last week's paper. We apologise for the error.
The Rooks are in desperate need of a good performance against rock-bottom Woking after early signs of promise against Burton Albion on Saturday turned again to bitter disappointment.

Burton, who have seen plenty of strikes go in at both ends in their games this season, were again involved in a goal-fest at the Pirelli Stadium.

Greg Pearson put the hosts ahead on 10 minutes before a Scott Taylor strike, on 15 minutes, and a Michael Standing penalty, four minutes later, put the visitors into a shock lead.

But the Rooks were unable to hold on to their advantage for any length of time and Keith Gilroy pulled Nigel Clough's level on 23 minutes.

Kevin Keehan's men kept the Staffordshire at bay until the hour mark before Aaron Webster put them ahead.

A Shaun Harrad strike on 71 minutes and a second late goal from Webster then rounded off a miserable 5-2 defeat for Lewes.
