Former Lewes duo Jean-Michel Sigere and Simon Wormull have joined local rivals Eastbourne Borough, according to the club's official website.
New Rooks manager Kevin Keehan had been in talks with both players with a view to keeping them at the Dripping Pan for next season, and the Lewes boss was hopeful of seeing former French Under-21 International Sigere at Rooks training sessions next month.

Keehan had also revealed that midfielder Wormull was the one player more than any other from last season's championship-winning squad that he wanted to keep at the club.

But the Eastbourne Borough FC website last night read, "On the arrival front a welcome is offered to Jean-Michel Sigere and Simon Wormull who both join the club from Blue Square South Champions and local rivals Lewes FC.

"Jean-Michel and Simon will bring additional experience, strength and recognised quality to the Boro squad as the club prepares for life at the national Conference level."
