Big hitters Jagota and Jackson go head to head

Two of the Sussex Premier League’s most destructive batsman will go head to head at the Saffrons on Saturday as Eastbourne host highflying Roffey.

Eastbourne will hope Sussex professional Callum Jackson will maintain his fine form with the bat.

Jackson leads the batting stats in the Sussex Premierwith 289 runs from his four matches at an average of 72.25 with a strike rate of 84.78.

Roffey’s Rohit Jagota will be one to watch. He’s third in the batting stats with 208 runs from his four matches at an average of 69.33 but his impressive strike rate of 114.29 is the best in the league.

Mark Tomsett’s Eastbourne side will aim to return to winning ways in the Sussex Premier.

They are fifth in the table having suffered their second defeat of the season at Preston Nomads last Saturday.

Eastbourne have played five so far this campaign and have enjoyed victory twice, lost twice and drawn once.

Roffey have enjoyed a decent start to 2015 season. They are third in the table with three victories and just one defeat under their belts this season.
