Eastleigh game off and Kidderminster tie '99.9 per cent' sure to follow

TONIGHT'S Blue Square Premier match between Lewes and Eastleigh at the Dripping Pan has been postponed because of the heavy snow.

With further snow expected in the lead up to the weekend The Rooks' trip to Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy on Saturday is also highly unlikely to go ahead.

Lewes manager Steve Ibbitson confirmed: "The Eastleigh game is already off and speaking to Kidderminster's secretary she said it was 99.9 per cent that the game would be off on Saturday.

"Their pitch is under six inches of snow and although they will have a pitch inspection on Friday they are saying there's very little chance it will be on."
