Five-star Rooks move out of drop zone

Lewes leap-frogged relegation rivals Worcester with a thumping 5-0 win at home to Dorchester on Saturday.

The Rooks are now two points ahead of Worcester after their five-star performance at the Pan.

Worcester, who lost 1-0 at Chelmsford, have 37 points and one game to play, while Lewes are now up to 39 with two to go.

A win for the Rooks against Bath at home tomorrow (Tuesday) night will ensure they will escape relegation before the final league game at ampton & Richmond next Saturday. But two draws from those two games would still be enough to keep them up.

Lewes' goals in a convincing win came from an eighth minute Joe Keehan penalty, a Keehan header in first half stoppage time, and second half strikes from Rob Gradwell, Chris Breach and substitute Jean-Michel Sigere.
