It was a busy Easter weekend in the Macron East Sussex Football League with matches on Saturday and Monday.

Iden edged out Westfield reserves 3-2 after extra-time to reach the Hastings & District FA Intermediate Cup final. Iden were twice ahead in normal time only to be pegged back on both occasions.

Chris Gould gave Iden a first half lead, but Westfield equalised before the break through Jacob Archer and also had a penalty saved by Iden goalkeeper Shane Ridgers.

Ben Heffernan put Iden ahead for the second time after the interval only for Westfield to restore parity again from their second spot-kick of the afternoon, which this time was converted by Peter Baker.

Extra-time ensued and Sam Cooper scored the goal which put Iden through to an all-East Sussex Premier Division final against Ore Athletic at Little Common FC on Wednesday April 29.
