Newhaven are back on top of Division Two after seeing off Storrington on Saturday.
Two goals from Lee Robinson and one from Mark Probert were enough for Newhaven to beat Storrington at Fort Road.
It was the second time the two sides have met this season, and the Dockers have come out on top in both encounters – the first a 4-1 win at Storrington back in August.
That day Robinson scored twice – and it was the same story this time, with the Dockers’ top scorer netting in each half.
Probert scored in between Robinson’s goals to seal a comfortable win for the Dockers.
Newhaven started with the same XI that began the 5-1 victory over Southwick 11 days previously. On the bench were Probert, Ryan Walton, Ryan Knight, Freddie Beale, on his return from suspension, and Youth Team top scorer Harry Millar.
Sadly, the Reserves lost 4-2 to Little Common while the Youths lost 7-0 at AFC Uckfield.
TEAM: Leach, Goddard (Beale), Murray, S Edwards, J Edwards, Breach, Altendorff, Watton (Probert), Robinson, Jallow (Millar), Rouane.
