An attacking player from a league club could be joining Lewes FC on loan, as boss Garry Wilson looks to ‘fill the void’ left by Charlie Penny’s departure.
Speaking yesterday (Wednesday), Wilson said he hoped to reach a deal before Saturday’s fixture at Enfield Town, and that the player would go straight into the Rooks’ squad for the game if the move is completed in time.
Penny scored three goals and made an impact on the side in a one-month loan spell from Millwall.
He has since returned to the Championship club.
