Peacehaven are set to play Liam Brady’s young Arsenal side at the Sports Park.
The Tye have secured a prestigious game against the Gunners stars of the future in a game scheduled to take place on 2pm on Saturday, July 27, kick off 2pm. Entry is just £3.
The club announced: “We’re delighted that you’ll be able to watch some stars of the future (at the Sports Park).
“Liam Brady’s Arsenal Academy will be coming to the Sports Park as part of their preseason warm up.
“Peacehaven’s Ryman U18 squad will face them in what should be a really entertaining game. Our squad this year is full of great players and they will all be excited to pit their own skills against Arsenal stars of the future.
“Come along and experience the club, ticket prices will be set at an exceptional price of £3 and we are naturally expecting a big crowd. To mitigate queues on the day tickets are available on line and a seperate entrance will operate for online tickets so you can jump the cue!”

Meanwhile, the Tye have confirmed the signing of three more Ryman level players, in Tom Lawley, Steve Metcalf and Jamie Brotherton – all from Worthing. Brotherton is a forward, and Lawley a winger while Metcalf is a full back who can play both right and left.
Joe Adams, Ash Jones, Ben Swetman, Joe Dryer, Callum Saunders, Tom Burton , Ash Rees and Wes Tate have all re-signed for the Tye.
Saltdean United have been spared relegation to Sussex County League Division 3 and will play in Division 2 this year.
