“Robbo’s playing the best football of his career and Harry works his socks off” Rooks boss Wormull hails Sussex Express Players of Month for Jan and Feb, captain Steve and Harding

SIMON WORMULL heaped praise on Steve Robinson and Harry Harding after the pair were presented with the Sussex Express Lewes FC Player of the Month awards for January and February before the Leatherhead game.

Wormull said: “I said to Robbo that I think he’s playing some of the best football I’ve seen him play, even when I played with him. He just looks great at the moment. And Harry’s such a good player – he works his socks off, he’s so passionate about it. And he hates losing – and that’s a great quality to have. He’s been fantastic, he’s done a great job for us on the left. Some of the deliveries he’s put in from there with his right foot has been great. And he’s got that work ethic, which is what we need.

“I think there’s still a lot to come from him and that’s quite exciting. Even at this level it’s exciting to think that he’s going to progress even more – with us hopefully as well.”
