Rooks in new Specsavers shirt

Here is the shirt that Lewes FC will be playing in next season.

The Rooks have announced Specsavers of Lewes as their new home kit sponsor.

Charlie Dobres, Board Director, commented “Many people don’t know that Specsavers branches are co-owned by the local people who run them. Specsavers Lewes has supported the club for several years, and we are absolutely delighted that we will now see them on the front of our home shirts for the next two years.

“Specsavers was one of the first companies to sign up for our Support & Save Scheme last year and is now the first to sign a two-year deal to sponsor our home kits”.

The new kit, supplied by the Spanish company Joma (who also supply Valencia and Fiorentina) will be unveiled at the club’s Open Day on Saturday, July 7.

Significantly, the first time the kit with Specsavers’ sponsorship will be seen in a home fixture will be the local derby against Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday, July 17, KO 7.45pm.

Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres will remain as the club’s charity ‘sponsor’ for the forthcoming season.
