Lewes FC’s home game this Saturday has been brought forward an hour to avoid a clash with Brighton and Hove Albion’s big FA Cup tie with Newcastle United.
The Rook’s Ryman Premier match against Canvey Island at the Dripping Pan will now kick off at 2pm.
The kick off for Saturday’s game has been brought forward from the original time of 3pm to avoid a clash and congestion with Albion’s FA Cup tie at home to Newcastle, which kicks off at 5.15pm.
A club spokesman said: “This is a great opportunity for Albion, and perhaps even travelling Newcastle fans, to squeeze in a trip to the Pan before making the short hop to the Amex.
The Rook Inn bar will be open as usual where fans can sample the award-winning Sussex Harveys Ale.
The decision to bring the time of kick off forward was made with the co-operation of Canvey Island FC.
