Snow whites out the whole of tonight’s county league football programme

The whole of the county league football programme scheduled for tonight has been wiped out due to the snowfall that fell in the county overnight and today.

The games involving local sides that have been postponed tonight are: Hailsham Town v Pagham and St Francis Rangers v Peacehaven, in Division 1; and Saltdean United v Seaford Town, in Division 2.

All the games postponed in Division 1 tonight are: Chichester City v Lancing, Crowborough Athletic v Sidley United, East Preston v Selsey, Hailsham Town v Pagham, Lingfield v Arundel, Rye United v Redhill, St Francis Rangers v Peacehaven and Worthing United v Horsham YMCA.

The games called off in Division 2 tonight are: Bexhill United v Westfield, Littlehampton Town v Rustington, Oakwood v Wick, Saltdean United v Seaford Town and Steyning Town v Midhurst & Easebourne.

There is only one game scheduled in the county league for tomorrow (Wednesday, March 13) night, which is Mile Oak v Broadbridge Heath in Division 2, so no local action is taking place in the county league this midweek.
